Parallelogram Formulas with calculation Examples

A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with opposite sides parallel.     Area formula:  A = b*h , where b is the base and h is the height. Example 1: A parallelogram with a base of 8 units and a height of 4 units has an area of 32 square units (8 x 4 = 32).     Example 2: A parallelogram with a base of 6 meters and a height of 3 meters has an area of 18 square meters (6 x 3 = 18).     Perimeter formula:  P = 2(l + w) , where l is the length and w is the width.   Example 1: A parallelogram with a length of 10 units and a width of 8 units has a perimeter of 36 units (2(10 + 8) = 36).     Example 2: A parallelogram with a length of 12 meters and a width of 5 meters has a perimeter of 34 meters (2(12 + 5) = 34).     Diagonal formulas:  d1 = √(a^2 + b^2), d2 = √(c^2 + d^2) Example 1: A parallelogram with a side of length a = 5, b = 7 has diagonal d1 = √(5^2 + 7^2) = √74 = 8.6 and d2 = √(7^2 + 5^2) = √74 = 8.6     Example 2: A parallelogram with a side of length c = 9, d = 4 has diagonal d1 = √(9^2 + 4^2)…
